Legal Advice Service for Certain Policy Holders

If your client holds a Trade Plus policy, or a Liability policy with the Legal Expenses cover included, you have access to free legal advice as part of your policy.

Most legal problems, dealt with early enough, can be resolved quickly when you speak to an experienced solicitor. Now you, as a member, can do just that.

This confidential email service is free to you, putting you in direct contact with a solicitor who can help. All legal firms providing advice to you through this service are approved members of their states’ Law Society and Legal Access Services’ legal panel.

While an initial response will be provided within three working days, if the matter is complex or difficult a further five days may be required to respond in detail or escalate the query to a telephone discussion or, at the solicitor’s discretion, a free face-to-face conference.

Please be aware that further, or ongoing, advice from the responding solicitor, beyond the free contact and response provided within the scope of this service, may be subject to fees and a formal cost agreement between you and the solicitor.

As a policyholder with the Legal Expenses cover included, following initial advice provided to your enquiry you may find the matter is covered by insurance. In order to determine whether the matter is covered or not, Legal Access Services will forward notice of your enquiry, together with a copy of the initial law firm response, to DCS the international insurance claims management and settlement company with offices in London and Sydney.
